1. A renewable and completely biodegradable polymer material.
2. Comes from natural plants rather than petroleum: Starch is extracted from corn, cassava and other crops, converted into sugar, and fermented by bacteria to produce lactic acid, which is then polymerized to form polylactic acid (PLA).
3. Fibers can be made by melt spinning, which have the advantages of biodegradability and comfort of natural fibers, as well as the distinctive characteristics of synthetic fibers, such as curl, smooth surface, resilience, etc.
4. It has excellent biocompatibility, making PLA products safe and healthy.
5. After PLA products are discarded, they can be degraded into carbon dioxide and water by microorganisms in the soil.
